24' Heavy-Duty Telescoping Extension Wand Review

The 24' telescoping wand for a pressure washer worked fine except for the spray nossel not always locking into place (even with a concerted effort), and I was not able to retract the telescoping end piece.
This item did what it was designed to do; effectively reach. It's construction is reasonably stout and the weight to length ratio is acceptable.
*I am a T-4 paraplegic who pressure washed my entire 2100Sq' home from a wheelchair and effectively reached the gables and roof eves.

McCulloch MH1300 1300 PSI 1.5 GPM Electric Pressure Washer with 19-Feet Hose Review

McCulloch products are disappearing from the market, including from Amazon. They're supposedly being taken over by Husqvarna, but if you have a problem with a product, you're out of luck. I bought a McCulloch pressure washer from Amazon on 8/31/09. After about 20 minutes of use, the washer wand extension - the pipe going from the trigger to the nozzle - split and started spraying out the side, making the washer useless. The warranty number sends you to a company called "Dixie Sales". On my first call, they said they would send a replacement part. After two months of waiting and many more calls, they finally told me the part is on "factory backorder" and not expected to be available until late December. Even if this is true (I doubt it), I've gotten no use out of a poorly made $200 product over the first four months I've owned it. To add insult to frustration, I can't even write a review for the product I bought, which has totally disappeared from Amazon.

Karcher G2600VH 2,600 PSI 2.3 GPM Gas Pressure Washer Review

I started with an electric 1800 PSI model after advise from a friend of mine. However I felt it had not enough power to do the job so I returned it and bought the Karcher G2600VH at Sam's club[...]. It came already assembled. At home I filled in the oil and gas, connected the hoses, inserted the nozzle, turned the water on and fired the engine up. It ran after the second kick. I gave it a try washing my 2 year old driveway. With the electric model I used the included dirt nozzle for one area. With the gas model I used the 25 degree nozzle. It cleaned much easier and quicker. The wand is higher quality as well. I did not try the SoapPacs yet. Will use those Saturday when washing my cars, patio furniture and lanai. So far very good impression and I can recommend this product.

I bought this oil to replace the oil in my 2 year old Homelite pressure washer.I'm glad I did this, as the oil in the pump was silver with metal flakes.This is maintenance that most people overlook.Most people don't even realize that there is oil in the pump - separate from the engine oil.It was very easy to change.Hopefully this helps the pump last longer, as pump replacement will cost about what I paid for the whole pressure washer from Home Depot.

You can apply detergent then turn a knob on the brush and rinse it off.It is slower than I expected (brush rotation) but it worked fine.I washed my vinyl garage door and it did a great job.I would buy it again.

Amazon's service was impecable, as always. They handled 2 returns on this very poor product without a hitch. The pressure washer is a complete failure though - don't order it or do so with your eyes wide open! The first unit arrived beautifully packaged and set up was a 3 minute task. But ... it simply would not turn on. After 45 minutes of experimenting a call to customer service for the manufacturer quickly reached agreement that something was wrong and it should be returned. I asked if they were not tested before leaving factory? She said she doubted that the Chinese factory did testing. The replacement unit arrived quickly thanks to Amazonand even better it set-up and started without a hitch.But the pressure!?? It was feeble indeed - little more than my garden hose achieves with a good nozzle and it would not clean even modest dirt areas from the deck.No way this thing is 1750 psi - my neighbor's mini-unit rated at 1250 psi is far stronger.Back it goes ... thanks Amazon .... but your warehouse needs to clean this one out!

Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer Turbo Wand 6043 Review

To be honest I was skeptical of buying this BUT to my amazement It is GREAT. I used it first to clean my patio slab, not extremely bad but it worked Super. Still a skeptic I went over to my Mother in laws, the front porch and sidewalk hadn't been cleaned in probably 40 years except for the usual hose job. It was BLACK and GREEN terrible. I used my yellow tip to clean about 1/4 of it then switched to the B&D turbo nozzle. WHAT a differance, it cleaned deeper with less effort and cleaned the rest 3/4 of my job in about the same time as the first 1/4.
I highly recommend.

The part they sent was in a bag with the part number as listed (187879GS), but was nothing like what is shown in the listing.The unloader I need is exactly as shown, with a threaded brass body, a black plastic shaft, and a stainless piston with O-ring at the end.What they sent had a black plastic threaded body and 2 smooth brass cups.

Returned for replacement.

Edit 5/9/2010: a little more web research showed that the picture in the listing was of a Briggs part number 187293GS.Amazon immediately shipped a replacement of the part I didn't need (187879GS), and offered a refund since it was not the part shown, and they have now removed the bad picture from the listing.I'm very happy with the customer service, I just wish they had advertised and shipped the 187293GS.

Briggs & Stratton 190627GS Pressure Washer Pump Unloader Manifold Review

The manifold replacement worked well. Both the manifolds (orig and replacement) are made of a softer metal than I would have expected. If you live in a cold weather area make sure the washer is totally drained (blow it out) or you could get a crack along the screw line. If I were going to do it again I would order the total manifold with all the internal components installed. I spent a lot of time pulling, prying and cutting the parts out of the old one. It works fine but there is a chance you could mess up any of the many internal components as you swap them out.

BE Pressure Washer 4000 PSI Gutter Cleaner Attachment Review

It will work good but the quick coupling to the long wand is useless if you need to extend the wand at all. And they give you a coupling to attach it directly to the wand but it has the wrong threads. (Male instead of female). I had to buy my own @ an additiional $5.50. I emailed them but there was no response.

General Pump Telescoping Pressure Washer Wand - 3500 PSI, 6ft. to 24ft. Length, Model# DLTG24 Review

I've got lots of high gutters on my home and hate dragging out the extension ladder.Normal "consumer" gutter wands are designed to work with a regular garden hose and are much too short.This one extends to 24 feet!However, who really wants to use a pressure washer to clean gutters while all that wet muck rains down on you?

My solution was to convert this for use with compressed air.Presto - dry leave go flying out of the gutters!The conversion is easy (it's rated for 3500psi after all!).The trigger value has regular pipe thread, as does the business end.Buy the gutter cleaning accessory for a couple bucks extra and you're good to go.

NOTE: This thing is heavy.I'm over six foot and no weakling.However, I can't imagine using the wand fully extended with either air or a pressure washer.There is a stabilizing belt accessory that I would highly recommend for any more than casual use!!

FAIP Powerwasher 80004 Universal Pressure Washer Large Surface Scrubber Kit Review

This surface cleaner made easy work of a deck that usually takes me hours to clean.It was strong enough where it removed the grime that built up all winter, but gentle enough not to damage my wood. I fully reccomend this for anyone who uses a pressure washer and cleans large surfaces; between that and my PWS1750 unit, I can not be happier with how easy it has been to clean my backyard....and that is just the beginning!

Karcher 9.558-112.0 Pressure Washer Vehicle Wash and Wax SoapPac, 12-Pack Review

This works really well if you use it properly. You need a washer that has a soap dispenser that can be switched off and on. Mine is a Karcher and the soap is dispensed when the wand is set to low pressure. So use low pressure to put some soap on the car and then switch to high to do the wash. You can repeat this a dozen or so times before the soap runs out. Note that when you switch to high the soap that is already in the line comes out with the high pressure spray for a second or two. Don't waste that as the short blast can cover half the car quite easily. Hard to remove grime spots might need the wand to be held close to the car. The final results were great and the rain beads up on the car nicely so the wax finish works. Be sure to rinse off well at the end and use a chamois or whatever for a final dry off. the whole process didn't take long at all. I couldn't get the wheel rims clean though - they were really dirty before. Perhaps when they are manually cleaned, regular use of the washer will do the job.
